About NAD+ Buffered
Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide (NAD+) is a ubiquitous coenzyme central to cellular redox biology, sirtuin-pathway biology, and DNA-repair signaling. Crescent supplies NAD+ in a buffered lyophilized form at 1,000 mg per vial.
Research interest spans mitochondrial biology, sirtuin-pathway studies, PARP-mediated DNA repair, and aging-axis research. The buffered preparation allows reconstitution closer to physiological pH for research applications.
Each lot is independently verified for purity (HPLC) and endotoxin (LAL kinetic chromogenic) before listing.

Lot CBR-NAD-260411-001 — purity and potency independently verified by BTLabs (West Palm Beach, FL); bacterial endotoxin independently verified by Freedom Diagnostics (Franklin, TN). Full parameter results below.
| Parameter | Method | Spec | Result |
|---|---|---|---|
| Identity | FTIR (USP <197A>) | Confirms NAD | Conforms |
| Appearance | Visual (USP <630>) | White powder | White powder |
| Purity | HPLC-UV 280 nm (USP <621>) | ≥ 98.0% | 99.8% |
| Potency | HPLC-UV 280 nm (USP <621>) | 90 – 110% of 1,000 mg | 1,257.7 mg (125.8%)† |
| Endotoxin | LAL (USP <85>) | ≤ 0.05 EU/mL | Pass |
† Measured fill exceeds the labeled potency — the active content is above the 1,000 mg label, not below. The lab confirmed identity and purity; the overfill is documented on the signed certificate.
