About DSIP
Delta-Sleep Inducing Peptide (DSIP) is a 9-residue peptide originally isolated from rabbit cerebral venous blood during electrically induced sleep states. It has accumulated a long research history in models of sleep architecture, stress response, and neuromodulation.
Research interest spans neuroendocrine modulation, EEG-pattern studies, and stress-axis research. DSIP has been studied in a wide range of pre-clinical paradigms despite its mechanism remaining incompletely characterized.
