About Semax
Semax is a synthetic heptapeptide derived from a fragment of adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH 4-7) with a Pro-Gly-Pro C-terminal extension for proteolytic stability. The peptide was developed at the Russian Institute of Molecular Genetics.
Research interest centers on neuroprotection, BDNF expression, and pre-clinical cognition paradigms. Semax has accumulated a substantial Russian-language research literature with translated reviews available.
Each lot is independently verified for purity (HPLC + ESI-MS) and endotoxin (LAL kinetic chromogenic) before listing.
